About Us
In 2008, Daniel and Robert Cocanougher came up with an idea; to create a program to make scheduling easier for small and medium sized businesses. The first thing we did was to find a way to make scheduling easier for businesses that were unable to have someone sitting by a telephone all the time. That program transformed into the services we now offer today, an online shop local program, with which we provide significant value to local businesses and cities. We started out in our hometown of North Richland Hills with the help of Craig Hulse, the Director of Economic Development, who gave his support, excited about the ways we could help businesses in the city of NRH. Since then, we have grown to support over 15 cities, and are growing rapidly every day.
Meet the team
Daniel Cocanougher - Founder

Skeds is the latest brainchild of Daniel (and his brother Robert) based on everything good in America; bringing increased communications, higher productivity, and community involvement together into one solution that is made available to everyone. From 2002 to 2009, Daniel Cocanougher held public office in Justin, Texas for six years as a Councilman, and then two years as Mayor. Daniel has a long history of starting, growing, and running successful businesses. Upon graduating from Rice University with a degree in electrical engineering, Daniel got his start working at IBM. There, he worked on a logic design team, helping to create the first PowerPC processor chipsets, which eventually powered Apple computers, cell phones, and IBM mainframes. Daniel holds two patents on these designs, and numerous other inventions. After IBM, Daniel joined the Cocanougher family businesses which included livestock feed manufacturing, real estate investments, and oil and gas investments. In 1994, the family sold the animal feed business. Then, Daniel started and invested in FUNimation Productions, which he helped create a 50 million dollar per year television, home video, and licensing business, eventually selling to Navarre in 2005. Putting his entrepreneurial expertise to use, Daniel is directing his time and efforts towards Skeds, the next generation of community-based business couponing, scheduling, and appointment software.
